Classroom Pets

I believe classroom pets are valuable for the students to learn about and care for.  I do welcome the presence of animals inside our classroom, and am happy to assist the children in caring for them.  Personally, however, I feel unable to take full responsibility for owning them.  If you would like to share an animal with our class during the school year, I encourage you to speak with me about it!

Our outdoor classroom is designed to attract birds, in particular.  The bottlebrush tree near the window provides us with easily visible perches.  Hummingbirds hover here as well!  The children maintain the bird bath.
