Daily Snacks
Most children need to have a snack at some time during the morning work period. Children serve themselves when they are hungry and space is available at the snack table. Ms. Summar will coordinate a snack calendar to designate one day per month for each family to donate snacks for the entire class.
The fresh snacks suggested on the calendar are most desirable. However, parents do forget from time to time that it was their day to provide snack. When this happens, do not fret. Simply bring a nonperishable snack for us to serve as an emergency back-up when another parent forgets. Please know that we appreciate all contributions!
Classroom snacks are not intended to take the place of a good breakfast at home. Please send children to school ready to learn.
